
The Vote Mama Foundation Board of Directors seeks Board members with nonprofit expertise, political or policy experience, and a passion for supporting moms as the architects of our country’s future. As a member of our Board, you’ll play a key role in amplifying the impact of this powerful organization as it grows from startup to institution. You’ll also become a leader in a network of inspiring women working to build a country where families thrive.
About Vote Mama Foundation:
Vote Mama Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the leading source of research and analysis on the political participation of moms and works to break the structural barriers moms face running for and serving in elected office.
Board Member Responsibilities:
Board members serve two-year terms. Vote Mama 501(c)(3) Board meets jointly once per quarter, scheduled online for 90-120 minutes during East Coast business hours.
All Board members are expected to:
Attend every remote Board meeting.
Hold an official role and perform those duties (generally 8-10 hours outside of Board meetings per year).
Champion Vote Mama in your online and in-person social networks by promoting our work, attending events with invited guests from your network, fundraising, and donating to Vote Mama.
Board members are also strongly encouraged to participate in the biannual in-person Board meeting, usually held in Q4.
Timeline & Application Instructions:
Interested parties should complete and submit our application by the priority deadline of Friday, February 21, 2025.
Applicants will receive regrets or an invite to interview by the end of February.
Following a Board member vote, selected applicants can expect to attend their first Board meeting in June 2025
